6 Weeks to Summer Recipe 1: Taco Soup

This week we bring you a delicious soup recipe straight from Rhonda’s kitchen!  This is a simple soup that her family raves about.

Ingredients
1lb ground beef
1 medium chopped onion
2- 14 oz. cans diced tomatoes
1-14oz can black beans

1-14oz can dark red kidney beans (optional)

1/12 taco seasoning packets

1-14oz can of corn

½ – 24 oz jar Salsa

2 cups water

Directions

Brown ground beef and onion then add tomatoes, beans, corn , Taco seasoning and salsa.  Add water based on desired soup thickness and simmer
