6 Weeks to Summer Recipe 3: Sausage, Beans and Spinach with Pasta

Another delicious gem from the kitchen of the one and only Rhonda!  This dish is delicious without pasta – so if you are trying to go low carb, prepare a salad as your side dish.  For the carb-lovers in your home, pair this dish with your favorite pasta and garlic bread!

Ingredients:

1 Pkg. hot or mild Italian Sausage (can use Italian turkey sausage)
1 T. minced garlic
1-14oz. can Great Northern beans or Cannelloni Beans
1 large bag Baby Spinach or Kale
¾  cup Chicken Broth

1 box Barilla Plus pasta (optional)

Directions:

Brown Sausage then slice it

Next add garlic spinach or kale and beans sautéed till spinach an

or kale is wilted then add chicken broth  and let simmer then

serve as is or over pasta
